Overcoming Not Enough, Part 2
The world teaches us to look outside of ourselves for meaning and worth. Consequently, we are always seeking to manage our life in terms of HAVING rather than BEING. When we are dealing with not enough, our default way of resolving this discomfort is to try and get more. Our efforts to get more distract us from dealing with the underlying discomfort of the belief itself: our sense of not enough.
What if our path to greater well-being and the experience of abundance is linked not to getting more, but to being more? And, what if by creating a habit of being more, we recondition our consciousness to focus on our purpose and passion. Dr. Gary discusses another antidote to not measuring up, fitting in, or feeling good enough.
