A SpiritGroup is a small group of people (up to 8) that gather to connect and explore spiritual practices in a circle of love and support. The five spiritual principles from a Unity perspective – Communion, Connection, Compassion, Community and Challenge – provide people the opportunity to grow in their spiritual life while engaging with each other in a deep, meaningful manner.
A SpiritGroup Host is a member who facilitates the gatherings using a provided weekly facilitator guide and an easy-to-use DVD video to aid the group in a conversation. The Host determines the day and time of their group and decides the location – either in their home or at another space in the community (library, coffee shop, etc.)
SpiritGroups are held in a 10-week series format – seven (7) weekly meetings, a group service project, a small group celebration and a SpiritGroup Community event. Groups only exist as long as a series. The first series will begin in April.
