March 6 and 13, our youth will be creating a “peace mobile” as our contribution to the Global Art Project for Peace.
This mobile will be part of a worldwide effort to connect people by providing a way for them to share their visions for peace through group and individual art projects. As a participant, Unity Spiritual Center will be paired with another group somewhere in our country or in another country. Each group will create a work of art and then exchange our creations with one another.
On March 6, you are invited to have your photo taken after both services in the Fireside Room.
On the following Sunday, March 13, we will decorate our photos with our own vision for peace in the world. You do NOT have to be an artist to participate – this is about sharing our hearts with others above all else. If you are unable to attend church on the 13th, there will be other opportunities to complete the “decorating” part of the project.
Finally, we will exchange our finished project with our assigned partner in late April.
