Unity Spiritual Center hosted a SpiritGroups “Train the Trainer” event in which the creator, Mendhi Audlin, taught us the ins and outs of SpiritGroups and how to train hosts. A total of 23 of us from ten different Unity and/or spiritual centers from as far away as Maryland and Arizona joined in the training. We laughed, connected, learned and expanded our consciousness. Our very own Rev. Drs. Jane & Gary, Salli Sledge, Al Konigsfeld, David McClure and Marlene Lock were amongst the group. We are all very thrilled to be moving forward on this small group ministry this spring

Sunday, April 3, after the 9 & 11 am services
This is when you can meet the hosts, see times/locations where different groups will be held, and register (in a variety of different ways) for a SpiritGroup!
In order to reserve time and space for our annual Sacred Rubble rummage sale we will launch our first SpiritGroups series the week of April 24. This means the first series will go through May and June. Below are the new dates for our first SpiritGroups series:
- Week of April 24: Kickoff! Groups get to know each other, learn about what to expect and discuss group agreements.
- Week of May 1: Introduction video
- Weeks of May 8 through Week of June 5: Lessons 1-5
- Week of June 12: Service project
- Week of June 19: Small Group Celebration
- Evening of Thursday, June 30: Unity Community Event
Ok, well, I am even more excited than I was before the training weekend, if that is possible. 🙂
